My favourite hang out spot during break

28 Jun

In the concrete jungle  Osaka it’s very rare to find a green spot. My all time favourite is Namba Parks Complex with its nice shops, restaurants, cafes and THE GREEN roof garden. Whenever I can I try to escape to this green island in the center of a noisy and crowded city…

Like today, spending my luch break here:

Rainy season still at its best: humidity, the color of grey everywhere, pouring baskets of water…

Time to stay home and relax! I enjoy my own company:-)

At 11pm the TV will be turned on: Germany against England today! Guiness is prepared. No German beer tonight…it would be just too much for the English as we will beat them tonight! Sorry Rooneysssss 😉

Some thoughts (not mine)

Clouds, fog, rainbows, mirages, and so on, are all analogies for architecture and the city!

If “earth and sky” is interpreted as being distantly connected it becomes a “room,” if as being disconnected it becomes a “pavilion.”Perhaps “earth and sky” can be taken as an architectural prototype, and perhaps “room” and “pavilion” can be called two architectural prototypes.

Grey sky and rain all day long. “You are not made of sugar” that’s what my mother used to tell me when I was little…well, true! So out, out in the rain!

Spent a wonderful day with a wonderful friend! Healthy organic lunch (this place is always full) at Sangmi Itadakimasu:-)
